“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’m writing this review after giving the owner the opportunity to address my concerns. When I first experienced problems during my appointment, I spoke with her directly and removed my original review because I wanted to allow her the chance to make things right. I later learned that the owner was out of town on the day of my appointment and was unaware of what had occurred. When we spoke, she listened to every concern without being dismissive or defensive. She sincerely apologized for my experience, immediately refunded the remaining $40 that had been deducted from my original payment, and invited me to return once she was back in town. I went back today, and the experience was night and day. From the moment I walked in, I received exceptional customer service. I was treated with professionalism, respect, and care throughout my appointment. The owner made sure I received the hairstyle I originally requested and checked on me during the process to ensure I was happy. What impressed me most wasn’t that a mistake had been corrected, it was the owner’s leadership and accountability. She took ownership of a situation she wasn’t even present for, made me whole financially, apologized sincerely, and ensured my second visit reflected the level of service her business strives to provide. No business is perfect, but great businesses are defined by how they respond when something goes wrong. Based on my experience with the owner, I can honestly say she values her customers and stands behind her business. Thank you for turning a disappointing situation into a positive one and I will return for future service.”

“Had such a great experience getting my hair done by the staff at Stars DNA. For one thing, I was able to get my hair done within the same day of messaging them, with no added or squeeze in fees. They also responded in a timely manner which i thought spoke volume about their customer service. Also, you see that 24hr policy? Believe it! My girl Star and company were up doing my hair Saturday night and they absolutely slayed it. My parts were nice and clean and my roots had the perfect grip. Additionally, the space had a nice ambiance and the staff was friendly. Also got free snacks, lol. I got the smedium boho knotless and this was probably the smallest smedium I've ever seen in my life, it should last me for a very long time if needs be. My hair grows weird; the sides are long the back is average length and the front is short (I also have a weird hairline which I dislike S/O to my genetics for that) but she (Star) was able to braid even the shortest parts which was a bit of a shocker for me. I'm Jamaican and very particular about who does my hair and how it gets done which was originally one of the reasons I decided to try this location out and the culture click was there for me.
